OMG... just so you all know- I arrived- through Kandahar today and then by a NATO/ISAF flight by the Canadian Air-force plane to Mazar and then by a Canadian Helicopter Crew to Camp Mike Spann...Yeah- awesome it was still daylight. No convoy for me. Still a long day. But Hey... I am finally at the TIP of the spear! Believe it now? Not sure I do yet. lol.
Pictures later if I can ever get Wifi...I am at MWR now- I'm officially 9.5 hours ahead of you... long journey... does you VA have a DSN line just wondering-
I am safely made it to my duty destination for hte next 350 days BOG... Camp MIke Spann. I got here about an hour before night fall- do not know much more than that. I have taken a shower and eaten dinner- Currently I am sharing a Cell... i mean B-hut room with my shipmate that i have been with for 3 months- so it is not bad...actually it has been VERY funny to the moment- mainly because we are TIRED....still this is also the Camp that Cardinal Football Player "Tillman" gave up fame to be an Army Ranger... and he was killed by friendly fire. ok... so- that was in 2006...an the little one in 2009 with the American military runners... so it seems every 3 years there is a issue- so I should be good! lol
