Well I am sitting in MC Guyer Airbase in New Jersey- arrived last night with just my Navy Shipmates. PLease visit my FB page for all the cool pictures of my I-stop back home and my departure out of Ft. Polk. My twin sister was allowed to fly in the night before to see me off. SHe was in uniform...IMPRESSIVE. She helped me out physically with all last minute things- to my emotional status- she made me feel so LOVED and lucky... only FAMILY on the flight line... Great to have an 05 AD Army Batallion Commander as your Sissy! Hooyah!
Im glad Ft. POlk is behind me...I am looking forward. To the next stage in this journey. I will post more as I know more. CUrrently we heard we would leave here- go to Bangor Maine then to Ireland...then to Kuwait then to Afghanistan... no flight miles given though! lol
We have 120 Army, 22 Navy and 1 airforce on the mainifeast...ourt luggage is 3 sea bags at 70 lbs max each and I am there. PLus our RuckSac at 70 lbs...mine weighs 69.8lbs... anf my carrying on is 33.4 lbs. Not to mention my two weapons that I have on my body! No comfort here!
I love you all. Thanks for your support! K+
