Advanced Combat Life Saver Course Completed

Well- Hello again. I have to say that was the most physical scenario training I have ever had. I woke up Thursday feeling like someone beat me with a rubber bat all night long. My thighs will never be the same. Good news I got hit by paintballs but never felt it! lol. There wasnt that many anyway- but with the vest on, my shoulder pads, groin protector, knee pads, elbow pads which were issued... I had additional secret weapon... I was able to McGuyver a lower leg soft splint out of an old combat bag which I was willed when I got here- *actually thrown away and I picked it up... I took my handy dany knife and cut it on the already folded areas- which so happened to be four! Imagine that- I have 4 limbs. Then I used my handy dany Gerber Tool and crimpt down the edges and made 2 shin guards and 2 forearm protectors and attached them with the heavy duty flat boot straps which I cut into 4- and was able to slip them on, attach them, and cover them up with my socks and or long sleeve shirt- they molded to me like they were made just for me... Oh wait they were! lol. Some people just didnt know how to duck or get out of the way. There were alot of bruises that evening- Oh Well, I know what they feel like- I will just let them think that I was a fast runner in all my 60 pounds of gear! lol Well the pics are posted on Facebook as I can not post them here for obvious reasons- cant figure it out. As it is- the Wifi is slow here with everyone on it. I have stayed after the kicked everyone out of the MWR site and I am working on the pourch sending you this message- it only took me two days. Wow! But your worth it.  Peace+
